kyMa

We investigate the competences future teachers acquire for mathematics instruction during their teacher training program and how pre-service teachers and career changers differ in their paths to professionalization.

Objectives

  • Development of an online assessment tool to measure professional competences of (prospective) mathematics teachers and career changers specializing in mathematics.
  • Investigation of the role of practical training phases and professional resources in teacher education and professionalization.
